Elaine Thompson Herah is a Jamaican track and field sprinter. She rose to prominence at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, completing a rare sprint double to win gold in the 100 metres and the 200 metres. Thompson Herah currently ranks as the tied fourth-fastest woman in the 100 metres and fifth-fastest woman in the 200 metres.
