Adam comes from western Massachusetts and has an undergrad degree in history, drama and film studies from Kenyon College (Ohio, not Africa). Once, as a boy, he forgot he was toasting a PopTart, started a kitchen fire, extinguished the blaze, ate a new PopTart and still made his school bus on time.
