辛西婭· 賴蘭特：1954年出生于美國， 暢銷書作家、圖書館員。至今，她已為孩子們創(chuàng)作了100多部作品，包括小說、圖畫書、短篇故事及詩歌。她是紐伯瑞獎和凱迪克獎的雙料得主，與黛安娜· 古德合作創(chuàng)作的《山中舊事》獲得了1983年的凱迪克獎銀獎。相隔10年，又憑借《想念梅姨》獲得1993年紐伯瑞獎金獎。
