普拉泰克·扎茨 Prateek Vats

Prateek Vats is an independent filmmaker and writer based out Mumbai/Goa. A graduate of the film direction course from Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), he has directed both fiction as well as non-fiction films which have been showcased at various film festivals and non-formal spaces. His debut feature documentary, A Very Old man with Enormous Wings, was awarded the Special Jury Award at the 65th National Film Awards. Currently, he is working on his first fiction feature length film, which is in its later stages of postproduction. Prateek is a visiting faculty at FTII and has taught at the State University of Performing and Visual Art, Rohtak. In addition to making his own films and teaching, Prateek has been involved with Ektara Collective in Madhya Pradesh and Collective Phase I in Kerala.
