陸曉朦 Xiaomeng Lu

導(dǎo)演，編劇，攝影指導(dǎo)，現(xiàn)就讀于美國哥倫比亞大學(xué)藝術(shù)學(xué)院研究生電影導(dǎo)演系，本科畢業(yè)于紐約視覺藝術(shù)學(xué)院電影攝影系。執(zhí)導(dǎo)及編劇數(shù)部個人短片，本科畢業(yè)作品《自由的審慎顯現(xiàn)》入圍 2019 年新導(dǎo)演電影節(jié), 在紐約市電影選集檔案館展映。個人影像風(fēng)格突出，構(gòu)建實(shí)驗(yàn)性敘事。作品以性、政治、宗教為基底，探討人物隱藏在各自社會形象下的百態(tài)內(nèi)心。曾以攝影指導(dǎo)參與多部哥倫比亞大學(xué)及紐約視覺藝術(shù)學(xué)院電影系畢業(yè)短片創(chuàng)作，包括《體溫》、《落頭之談》、《南國回憶錄》、《Le Banquet》等。 Xiaomeng Lu is originally from Beijing, China. He is currently in his third year in the MFA Film program at Columbia University in New York. In his films, sex, politics, and religion are inseparable foundational elements. His work explores the deformities of characters’ inner thoughts being trapped by their social identities, and focuses on characters who struggle to express themselves in a reasonable state. Xiaomeng’s undergraduate thesis film The Discreet Apparition of Liberty (2018) screened at Anthology Film Archives in New York City for the New Filmmakers Festival in 2019.
