Anna Sandor was born in Hungary, and spent her childhood in Canada. She began her career as an actress, becoming a writer in her mid-twenties. Her films have garnered the Emmy, three Humanitas Awards, the Writers Guild of America Award, the Gemini Award and the Margaret Collier Award for lifetime achievement in the Canadian industry. Sandor lives in Los Angeles, California.
